I am going home 🇸🇪 🙌 over the past few years, I’ve only been home for short trips, one or two days at a time, to my hometown Gothenburg. This time I will stay for almost two weeks!! If I'm not hiding in the jungle (previous post🔙🔙) the likelihood is that you'll find me on a beach somewhere practicing yoga. Like last week at the ''Anthony Quinn Beach’ in Rhodes where I spent a few days with my family and I asked my mum to climb up onto the rocks with me to take a yoga picture (I should add that she's absolutely terrified of heights). It didn't help when I threw one leg behind my back and went in a ‘Natarajasana’ (Dancer Pose) and almost lost grip of the Greek flag that I was holding on to, as a balance bar, to prevent me from falling the five metre sheer drop on the other side 😆 Älskar dig mamma ❤️

I never knew how lucky I was to grow up never to be told that I couldn't do something because of my gender. When I decided I wanted to become a pilot no one said I couldn't because I'm a girl. I knew that the majority of pilots were men, but I never knew it was as low as 5% female! The first time a passenger came up to the flight deck and complimented me for being a woman in a male dominated world it made me so proud, even if I didn't really understand why I deserved the compliment more than the Captain sitting to my left, he had put the same effort in as I had, flying an airplane works the same regardless if you're a man or a woman.
